A Listing can serve more than one purpose. It may appear in an agent’s portfolio, move into a client shortlist, become part of a company catalogue or be presented on its own. Catalogues & Presentations helps agents and developers organise those different uses around Listing data already maintained in MLS RealtyHub, so a change in audience or task does not automatically mean rebuilding the property information from the beginning.
The problem starts after the Listing is ready
Property information spreads quickly once it leaves its source. A PDF goes to one partner. A spreadsheet is shared with another. A client receives several links in a chat. Days later, the price or availability changes, but the older material is still out there.
Catalogues & Presentations handles this part of the work. It gives existing Listings a structured form for a portfolio, selection, recipient or presentation without creating another independent property record.
One Listing can serve several jobs
The Module includes different formats because agents and developers use property information in different situations: to present a portfolio, build a focused selection, respond to a client request or show one Listing on its own.
- User Catalogue for an individual professional portfolio
- Company Catalogue for a company-level portfolio
- Favorites Catalogue for a hand-picked property selection
- Smart Property Catalogue for a selection driven by criteria
- Client Selection Catalogue for a particular recipient or Lead
- Property Presentations for static or live presentations of one Listing
A portfolio and a client shortlist may contain some of the same properties, but they are built for different reasons. MLS RealtyHub keeps that difference in the way the output is organised.
Inventory comes first
Catalogues & Presentations uses Listings that already exist in MLS RealtyHub, while property creation and maintenance remain outside this Module. The Listing stays the working source; the Module changes how its information is grouped, selected or presented.
Choose the job before the format
A professional may need to show a portfolio, choose several properties personally, maintain a selection around repeatable requirements, prepare options for one recipient or present a single property. Once that need is clear, the appropriate catalogue or presentation type becomes easier to choose.
Depending on the format, the user may select Listings, set criteria, add recipient context or choose presentation options. MLS RealtyHub then uses the relevant Listing information to create the output for that task.
Portfolio catalogues put the right inventory in front of the right audience
A User Catalogue presents published Listings associated with one user, while a Company Catalogue brings applicable Listings together at company level, giving individual professionals and companies the portfolio context they need without duplicating Listings already maintained in MLS RealtyHub.
Manual selection works when judgement matters
There are times when no useful filter explains why five properties belong together. The agent simply knows, based on the conversation, that these are the ones worth showing.
Favorites Catalogue is built for that situation. The professional chooses the Listings manually and controls the composition of the selection. New properties are not added automatically just because they resemble the existing ones.
Smart Catalogue is built around repeatable requirements
If a selection can be described through stable property criteria, rebuilding it manually each time matching inventory changes adds work without adding much judgement.
With Smart Property Catalogue, the user defines the relevant criteria, and MLS RealtyHub can populate and refresh matching Listings according to those conditions.
- The selection begins with configured criteria.
- Matching Listings can be added according to those criteria.
- Results can refresh as the matching inventory changes.
- Detailed configuration remains within the dedicated Smart Catalogue Tool.
Client Selection brings the recipient into the picture
A general catalogue can exist without a named person attached to it. Client Selection Catalogue is created for a specific recipient or Lead and can support item-level feedback such as like or dislike.
That gives the professional useful information about the selection itself: which properties the recipient responded to and how. Lead creation, qualification and pipeline management remain part of the CRM workflow.
Agents can use the Module at several points in the same relationship
For an agent, the same property information may be needed in different forms as a client relationship develops. A portfolio, a shortlist and a presentation serve different moments, even when they use some of the same Listings. Catalogues & Presentations can support several practical tasks throughout the client relationship:
- show a professional portfolio
- build a manual group of selected Listings
- maintain a criteria-driven catalogue
- prepare properties for one recipient
- present one Listing in an available format
The purpose changes as the relationship develops. The same property information can support a portfolio, a shortlist, a client discussion or a presentation without being rebuilt from scratch each time.
Developers use the Module from a broader portfolio position
Developers can use available catalogue formats to present organised inventory and make property information available to agents or other external recipients.
Project Price Lists, project operations and detailed Project Presentation mechanics remain in Developer & Project Management. Catalogues & Presentations stays focused on the catalogue and presentation layer.
A PDF is meant to stay still
A Branded PDF Presentation is a static output based on the Listing information available when the file is generated. If the Listing changes later, the existing PDF remains unchanged, so a current version requires generating a new file.
Live Property Presentation behaves differently
A Live Property Presentation can remain connected to its underlying Listing. Changes to the source information can then appear in the live output.
This behaviour applies specifically to live presentations. Other catalogues, links and shared outputs do not necessarily update automatically.
Automation only appears where it belongs
Each capability has its own working logic. MLS RealtyHub does not treat the whole Module as one automated system.
- Smart Catalogue can use configured criteria to populate matching Listings.
- Smart Catalogue results can refresh.
- Favorites keeps Listing selection manual.
- Client Selection can record recipient interactions.
- Live presentations can reflect source changes.
- Static PDFs remain fixed after generation.
The point is not to automate everything. It is to use automation where the selected format is designed for it.
Sharing should fit the situation
Some catalogues can be shared through external-facing links for professional, partner or client use. Specific formats may also offer different branding or access options.
These links remain presentation tools. They are not intended for portal publication, advertising distribution or automatic external syndication.
The value comes from starting with work already done
The Listing already contains the property information. Catalogues & Presentations gives that information another useful form without turning each new presentation into a separate property-management task.
That can mean:
- an agent portfolio
- a company portfolio
- a manual selection
- a criteria-driven catalogue
- a recipient-specific selection
- a static or live property presentation
The important part is not the number of output types. It is that the professional can choose a format according to the job instead of rebuilding the same source material for every new use.
What stays with the user
The user decides what the catalogue or presentation is meant to achieve before choosing the format. That decision may shape which Listings are included, whether criteria are needed, whether the output belongs to a particular recipient, and which branding or sharing options make sense for the situation.
The professional remains in control of those choices. MLS RealtyHub does not decide which properties should be shown to a client, which business purpose matters most or where the finished output should be used.
What MLS RealtyHub handles
Once the user has chosen the purpose, format and required inputs, MLS RealtyHub takes the relevant Listing information and turns it into the selected output. The system handles the product logic behind that format rather than asking the user to rebuild the same information manually each time. What happens next depends on the capability being used and the type of catalogue or presentation selected.
Depending on that capability, MLS RealtyHub can handle:
- criteria-based population of Listings that match configured requirements
- refresh behaviour when matching inventory changes
- organisation of source Listing data into the selected catalogue or presentation
- recording of Client Selection feedback and recipient interactions
- live connections that can reflect changes from the source Listing
- generation of static presentation outputs when a fixed document is required
These behaviours are deliberately capability-specific. Smart Catalogue can use criteria and refresh logic, Client Selection can record recipient interaction, and live presentations can stay connected to source Listing data. A static PDF follows a different rule and remains fixed after generation. Keeping those differences clear helps users understand what each format does.
Flexibility has limits
Catalogues & Presentations is designed to support different ways of packaging property information, but flexibility does not mean that every output offers the same branding, sharing, automation or access model. Options depend on the specific capability, and access may also depend on the user’s subscription or package.
Where Catalogues & Presentations ends
Catalogues & Presentations begins after the Listing already exists. Listing creation and maintenance belong to Listings & Inventory Management. Detailed project operations remain within Developer & Project Management, while Lead qualification and pipeline work sit within CRM & Lead Management. External B2C distribution belongs to Marketing & Digital Presence.
One property can appear in more than one context
A Listing may sit in a User Catalogue today, match a Smart Catalogue tomorrow and later appear in a Client Selection. The professional is doing something different with the property each time, but the source information remains tied to the maintained Listing.
That is the working idea behind the Module: keep the property information in one source and change the presentation when the job changes.
Use the format that fits the job
Catalogues & Presentations gives agents and developers a practical way to move from maintained Listing information to the portfolio, selection or presentation needed next.
