Developer Onboarding interface preview

Access alone does not put a new platform into daily use. A developer team still needs to bring its company, projects, units and commercial information into a workable structure, understand how updates will be handled and know what to do next. Developer Onboarding is the live, complimentary MLS RealtyHub service that helps the team make that transition.

From Account Access to a Working Project Process

Developer Onboarding is for developers preparing to manage project inventory in MLS RealtyHub. The service focuses on the practical starting point: adding the company, arranging projects and related units, bringing in the required commercial data and preparing the people responsible for maintaining it.

This work sits within Professional Services and Enablement. The MLS RealtyHub team contributes hands-on onboarding, data transfer, training and a readiness check. The developer remains responsible for providing and confirming the information that will be used.

When Onboarding Becomes Necessary

A platform may be available while the team is still working from separate price lists, folders and internal files. Until that information has been prepared for the new workspace, users cannot follow a consistent project process. The need becomes especially clear when several projects or many units must be represented with current commercial details.

Developer Onboarding is relevant when:

  1. a developer is joining MLS RealtyHub for the first time;
  2. company, project and unit information must be prepared for the workspace;
  3. commercial data needs to be moved into an agreed structure;
  4. the team needs training before it takes responsibility for regular updates;
  5. a developer and an agent need a clearer shared basis for working with project inventory.

What the Developer Provides

The onboarding process starts with the information the developer already owns and maintains. This includes the company details, project information, related unit records and the commercial data required for the agreed setup. Relevant materials can also be prepared as part of the project information where they are available.

The developer must check the source material and confirm that the information supplied is suitable for use. MLS RealtyHub does not turn onboarding into automatic legal verification of a project, price, availability status or supporting document.

What the MLS RealtyHub Team Does

The MLS RealtyHub team performs the service work needed to move the developer from initial access toward practical use. The confirmed onboarding scope includes data transfer, training and checking that the user is ready to work in the account.

For a developer workflow, that work is centred on:

  1. bringing the company and agreed project information into MLS RealtyHub;
  2. arranging projects and their related units around the supported Project to Unit structure;
  3. preparing or transferring commercial data within the agreed scope;
  4. helping the team understand the process for maintaining prices and availability;
  5. training the responsible users in the relevant workflow;
  6. checking that the users understand the process and have the data needed to continue.

A Practical Onboarding Sequence

The exact service scope is agreed for the client, but the working logic remains straightforward. First, the developer identifies the projects to be onboarded and provides the related company, unit and commercial information. Next, the MLS RealtyHub team prepares and transfers the agreed data into the supported project structure.

The team then explains how the developer will work with the resulting records, including how project and unit information, prices and availability should be maintained. Onboarding reaches its practical conclusion when the user understands that workflow and confirms that the necessary data is available. From that point, the developer can take over the regular work inside the account.

Example: Preparing a Project for Daily Updates

Consider a sales manager joining MLS RealtyHub with one active development and a list of available units. The source material contains company details, project information, unit records, prices, availability and sales materials. During onboarding, the agreed information is prepared around the Project to Unit structure, and the manager is trained to maintain the commercial status of the inventory.

The result is not a promise that every external channel will update automatically. It is a working project structure in MLS RealtyHub and a user who knows how to keep the relevant information current. Any distribution beyond the platform depends on the supported output and channel selected separately.

What Is Ready at the End

Developer Onboarding creates a defined handover point between implementation work and daily use. The developer receives an account prepared around the agreed company and project information, transferred data within the confirmed scope, and training for the relevant project workflow.

The team also has a clear division of responsibility. MLS RealtyHub handles the agreed onboarding work; the developer supplies and confirms the source data, learns the workflow and takes responsibility for keeping project, unit, price and availability information current after handover.

Included Scope and Separate Requests

Developer Onboarding is live and provided on a complimentary basis. The precise amount of data preparation, migration or implementation work must still be agreed before the service begins. Complimentary onboarding does not create an unlimited commitment to every form of customisation, integration or development.

White-label and franchise deployment are separate services available on request. They require their own commercial and technical discussion and should not be treated as part of standard Developer Onboarding. The same distinction applies to a custom website or a dedicated integration: these are not implied by setting up a developer account and project workflow.

Important Service Boundaries

Onboarding prepares the agreed starting structure and the people who will use it. It does not replace the developer’s ongoing responsibility for the accuracy of company, project and commercial information. MLS RealtyHub does not guarantee prices, availability, project rights or legal status through the onboarding process.

The service also does not include an automatic promise of a fixed delivery date, SLA, level of customisation or external distribution. These details depend on confirmed scope and, where relevant, a separate commercial or technical agreement. MLS RealtyHub is the professional platform and service provider in this process, not a broker, intermediary or party to a property transaction.
