Global Platform Search

Help agents, developers, consultants, and valuers find accessible MLS RealtyHub entities by name and open the right working record for their next task.

Move from a known name to the relevant working record without opening each area of MLS RealtyHub first. Global Platform Search gives professionals one place to search the platform content available to them and continue from the entity they need.

The Same Results Cannot Answer Every Professional Question

An agent looking for a project, a developer checking a project record, a consultant studying a segment, and a valuer reviewing market context do not begin with the same question. A broad list can create more work when the user already knows which entity they need. They may have to move between separate areas before they can even start the real task.

Global Platform Search addresses the navigation part of that problem. When a professional knows the name of a project or another identifying term, the search helps them move toward the corresponding record inside MLS RealtyHub. It is designed for finding accessible platform content, not for searching the public web or browsing a consumer property portal.

What Global Platform Search Does

Global Platform Search is a live tool within the MLS RealtyHub working interface. A user deliberately opens Search, enters a term, reviews the matching platform entities available to their account, and moves to the relevant working record. The result is a faster route to the right context, not a separate report, catalogue, recommendation, or analysis.

The tool has a narrow job:

  1. Accept a known name or search term from the user.
  2. Search the MLS RealtyHub content the user is permitted to access.
  3. Surface the relevant platform entity or working record.
  4. Let the user continue the task in the area where that entity belongs.

When an Agent Uses the Tool

The primary user is an agent who needs to reach a known record before taking the next professional action. The trigger may be a client mentioning a project by name, a colleague referring to an existing listing, or a follow-up task that requires the agent to reopen information already held in the platform.

Global search is most useful when the destination is known but its location in the interface is not. It removes the need to begin by deciding which platform area to browse. If the agent is still defining a property requirement, exploring a location, or comparing options spatially, contextual filters or map search are better starting points.

From Input to the Next Action

The interaction loop is simple because the search is a route into work rather than the work itself. The user supplies the query and decides which result is relevant. MLS RealtyHub performs the search across content available to that user and presents the matching entity.

  1. The agent opens the Search tab in the MLS RealtyHub interface.
  2. They enter a known name or identifying term, such as a project name.
  3. The system checks the platform content available to that user for a corresponding entity.
  4. The agent reviews the result and chooses the record that matches the task.
  5. They open that record and continue in its relevant workspace.

What the User Controls and What the System Handles

The user controls the intent of the search: what term to enter, which result to open, and what to do next. Search does not decide that a record is suitable for a client, verify a commercial conclusion, or choose the next business action. Those decisions remain with the professional using the platform.

The system handles retrieval within the user’s existing access scope. This distinction matters. Search helps a user reach content they can already access; it does not change visibility rules or grant access to restricted records. The available result set therefore depends on the content and permissions associated with the user’s account.

Suppose an agent receives a message about a development and needs to review its working record before replying. The agent knows the project name but does not want to browse through separate platform sections to locate it. They open Global Platform Search and enter that name.

MLS RealtyHub returns the corresponding accessible project record. The agent selects it, checks the information relevant to the enquiry, and continues from the project workspace. The search has completed its job once the user reaches the correct entity; any later comparison, presentation, or client communication belongs to the appropriate tool and process.

A Shorter Route for a Developer User

A member of a developer team can use the same pattern to return to an existing project entity: enter the project name, identify the accessible record, and open it for the next task. The role and next action differ, but the function of Global Platform Search stays the same. It provides navigation to the entity rather than replacing project management.

Where This Tool Sits in Search, Maps and Discovery

Global Platform Search belongs to the Search, Maps and Discovery module. The module supports several ways of reaching and investigating professional content, but each tool answers a different kind of question.

  1. Global Platform Search helps the user reach a known platform entity.
  2. Contextual filters narrow the data shown on a specific page according to that page’s content.
  3. Property and project map search add a spatial way to investigate listings or projects.
  4. Infrastructure and GIS-related work provide location context and analysis where those separate capabilities apply.

These tools should not be treated as interchangeable. A global query is useful when the user knows what they are trying to find. Page-specific filters are useful when they need to narrow a set of records. A map is useful when location and the visible area are part of the question.

What Global Platform Search Does Not Promise

Global Platform Search is an internal B2B platform tool. It is not the consumer search used by RealtyHub.cy or Realty.com.cy, and it is not an external web search. It should not be described as a catalogue builder, a map, a GIS analytics tool, or a system that searches information beyond the user’s available MLS RealtyHub content.

Global Platform Search does not promise a best match, complete or error-free results, routing, or exhaustive third-party location data. Search can help a professional reach a matching platform record, but the user still needs to confirm that the selected entity is correct for the task and assess its information in the relevant workspace.

Frequently asked questions

Global Platform Search, explained.

Is Global Platform Search Available Now?
Yes. Global Platform Search is live in MLS RealtyHub. It is available as part of the working interface rather than as a separate standalone product page inside the application.
Does It Search the Public Internet?
No. It searches content inside MLS RealtyHub that is available to the user. It does not operate as a general web search engine and does not turn consumer marketplace content into B2B platform records.
Can It Show Records Outside My Access Rights?
No. Global Platform Search works within the content available to the user’s account, so search does not replace visibility controls or permissions.
Does Global Search Replace Filters and Maps?
No. Global search helps a professional reach a known entity. Contextual filters narrow records within a specific page, while property and project maps support spatial investigation. Each capability serves a different stage of discovery.
What Can I Do After Opening a Result?
The next action depends on the entity and the user’s role. The purpose of Global Platform Search is to move the user to the relevant working record; the task then continues in the appropriate MLS RealtyHub workspace.
