Property details are easiest to capture while you are still standing in the property. Listings On-the-Go gives agents a mobile web workflow for collecting listing data, adding photos, using voice input for the description and publishing the completed record from the field. The information moves into the agent’s MLS RealtyHub account, so work started during the visit can continue there.
Capture the listing while the details are fresh
A property visit produces many small facts at once. If an agent stores them across notes, a phone gallery and voice messages, the same information must be assembled again later. That second pass takes time and creates another opportunity to miss a detail. Listings On-the-Go keeps the capture process focused on one outcome: a prepared listing record that the agent can review and publish.
The tool is part of the Mobile and Field Experience module in MLS RealtyHub. Its purpose is to help a professional collect the materials for a property listing where the information is available.
When the mobile workflow is useful
The primary user is an agent accepting or documenting a property during an on-site visit. The agent has direct access to the property and can turn what they see and learn into a structured listing without creating a separate set of temporary notes.
Listings On-the-Go is useful when the agent needs to:
- record property information during the visit;
- add the photos taken on site;
- use voice input instead of typing the full description on a phone;
- review the assembled listing before it is published;
- send the listing to the agent’s MLS RealtyHub account for continued work.
What the agent brings into the process
The workflow starts with the materials available during the visit: property data, a voice-based description and photos. MLS RealtyHub does not replace the agent’s knowledge of the property or decide whether the information is ready for publication.
The agent remains responsible for the quality of the source material. A clear description begins with accurate observations. Useful photos depend on what the agent chooses to capture. The mobile workflow brings those elements into one listing process, with professional review before publication.
From the property visit to a published listing
Start with the property data
The agent opens the mobile web workflow while on site and enters the available property information. This creates the basis of the listing record in the same MLS RealtyHub account used for later inventory work.
The process reduces the need to write information elsewhere and transfer it after the visit. It focuses on collecting property information for the listing.
Add the description by voice
When typing is inconvenient, the agent can use voice input for the listing description. This is especially practical while walking through the property, when details are easier to recall than they will be several hours later.
The agent checks the description before publication and corrects anything that is incomplete, unclear or inaccurate. MLS RealtyHub supports preparation of the record; the user controls the final wording.
Attach the photos from the visit
The agent adds property photos as part of the same mobile capture process. Data, description and media are gathered around one listing rather than left in separate places for later assembly.
The agent selects and checks the photos before publication. The tool provides the path from field capture to the listing record, while the agent decides which materials represent the property correctly.
Review and choose to publish
Before the listing goes live, the agent reviews the prepared record. Publication is a user-controlled action from the agent’s account under the applicable publishing rules.
Once the agent confirms the record, the listing can be published from the mobile workflow on their behalf. The resulting listing remains in MLS RealtyHub for continued inventory work.
One visit becomes one working record
Imagine an agent named Elena arriving to document a new property. She enters the available details while speaking with the owner, takes the necessary photos and dictates the first version of the description before leaving. The information is still fresh, and each material is connected to the same listing.
Elena then checks the record. She corrects the description, reviews the photos and confirms publication. Instead of returning to the office with three separate sources to reconcile, she leaves with a listing in her MLS RealtyHub workflow.
Why the shorter path matters
The practical value comes from removing a handoff between the property visit and the working record. The agent can capture information in the context where it is easiest to verify, then continue from the resulting listing instead of rebuilding it from memory.
- Property facts are recorded closer to their source.
- Photos are attached during the same listing workflow.
- Voice input offers an alternative to long mobile typing.
- The agent reviews the record before publication.
- The resulting record stays connected to the agent’s MLS RealtyHub account.
The agent can continue working on the listing as needed and chooses when it is ready to publish.
What the tool handles and what the agent controls
Listings On-the-Go provides a mobile path for collecting listing inputs and moving the prepared record into MLS RealtyHub. It keeps the property data, description and photos within the listing process and supports publication from the agent’s account.
The agent controls the substance and the decision:
- what property information to enter;
- what to include in the voice-based description;
- which photos to add;
- what needs correction before publication;
- whether the listing is ready to publish;
- how to meet the applicable publishing rules.
A focused part of Mobile and Field Experience
Listings On-the-Go is one working tool inside the wider Mobile and Field Experience module. This page focuses on property collection and publication.
Agents can already create and publish listings on site using the MLS RealtyHub mobile web experience. A separate full mobile application is in development.
Current scope and limits
Agents can use the mobile web experience to collect property data, use voice input for the description, add photos and publish the property from their account after review.
The workflow described here does not include:
- offline operation;
- a native iOS or Android application;
- distribution through mobile app stores;
- push notifications;
- complete parity with desktop workflows;
- publication without user confirmation;
- a fixed set of screens or controls beyond the property capture flow.
