Explore professional property and project inventory through marketplace views, contextual filters, platform-wide search, and map-based discovery inside MLS RealtyHub.
Why Professional Discovery Needs More Than One Search Interface
A large inventory has value only when a professional can reach the part that matters for the task in front of them. One day the question may be broad: what is available in this location or segment? Another day it may be precise: which Listings fit this client requirement? The same professional may also need to review rental options, explore new developments, or look back at inventory that was offered before.
Those tasks do not all work equally well in one interface. Professional discovery may require:
- a broad view of available inventory;
- a focused search based on specific criteria;
- contextual filters that change with the entity being explored;
- a map when location and spatial relationships matter;
- separate discovery paths for individual Listings and Projects;
- access to archived inventory when historical offer context is relevant.
Search, Maps & Discovery brings these approaches into one professional discovery environment instead of forcing every task through the same search method.
What Search, Maps & Discovery Is
This Module is the discovery layer of MLS RealtyHub. It helps authorised professionals browse, search, filter, and visually explore Listings and Projects that already exist within the B2B platform.
The working environment combines several connected discovery approaches:
- a closed B2B Property Marketplace for professional property inventory;
- Global Platform Search across the MLS RealtyHub environment;
- contextual filters for narrowing results according to the current task;
- Property Map Search for spatial discovery of Listings;
- Project Map Search for spatial discovery of Projects;
- location context that can support the professional review of a property and its surroundings.
The Module does not create Listings or Projects. It starts with inventory that already exists and helps the professional reach the relevant part of it.
One Environment for Broad and Focused Discovery
Professional search does not always begin with a precise client brief. Sometimes the first task is simply to understand what supply is visible in a particular area, property category, or commercial segment. Once that picture is clear, the same discovery process can become much more focused.
The same environment can therefore support different working objectives:
- understanding available supply in a location or segment;
- responding to a specific buyer or tenant requirement;
- exploring new-development Projects;
- reviewing resale property Listings;
- checking rental inventory;
- reviewing archived Listings for historical offer context.
The search objective changes. The discovery layer stays connected.
Who the Module Is For
Access to relevant professional inventory matters to both agents and property developers. Their immediate questions may differ, but the underlying need is the same: reach the right part of available inventory and narrow it according to the current task.
Typical professional use can include:
- agents and intermediaries using the discovery environment to explore relevant Listings and Projects according to the task at hand;
- property developers using the same discovery environment to reach and narrow relevant professional inventory.
Neither audience dominates the Module. The same discovery layer supports different professional questions while preserving the distinction between Listings and Projects.
The B2B Property Marketplace as a Professional Inventory Workspace
The B2B Property Marketplace is the main professional environment for browsing property inventory inside MLS RealtyHub. It gives authorised users a closed workspace for reviewing available property Listings and progressively narrowing what they want to see.
Its role is different from a public consumer property portal. This is a B2B professional inventory workspace, not a public marketplace designed for consumer property browsing.
A professional may begin with a broad overview and then reduce that view as the task becomes more specific. The value is not only seeing what is available, but being able to move from “everything relevant” toward “what matters now.”
Global Platform Search Across MLS RealtyHub
Some discovery tasks begin outside a specific property marketplace view. The user may need a broader route through the MLS RealtyHub environment.
Global Platform Search provides that broader search layer across MLS RealtyHub.
“Global” in this context means across MLS RealtyHub, not across the public internet, external property portals, or unrelated third-party sources. The detailed search interaction belongs to the dedicated Tool; at Module level, its role is to provide another route into the professional discovery environment.
Contextual Filters for Different Professional Tasks
A filter only matters if it helps answer the question the professional is actually asking.
The criteria relevant to land can differ from those needed for residential property, rental inventory, or a Project. MLS RealtyHub therefore uses contextual narrowing rather than assuming that one universal filter structure should work for every entity and screen.
Representative filters can include:
- location or the visible map area;
- property type;
- deal type, such as sale or rent;
- price range;
- area or square-metre range;
- type of user associated with the offer;
- publication date;
- last update date.
These are examples of supported professional narrowing rather than a complete filter dictionary. The exact filters depend on the relevant entity and discovery interface.
Property Map Search When Location Matters
A list can tell the professional what exists. A map can answer a different question: where is it?
When location is central to the task, Property Map Search provides a visual interface for exploring Listings according to where they are situated.
The map and visible property inventory can work together. As the professional changes the area currently shown on the map, the visible catalogue can respond to that geographic area. This allows the user to move from a broader location toward a smaller area while continuing to narrow the Listings being reviewed.
The map is therefore a working discovery interface, not a decorative view. Detailed map controls and the complete interaction loop belong to the dedicated Property Map Search Tool.
Project Map Search for New-Development Discovery
Projects remain a separate product entity from individual property Listings, so project discovery needs its own spatial context.
Project Map Search allows professionals to explore Projects visually without treating Project inventory as if it were the same dataset or workflow as individual property offers.
This distinction matters particularly for new-development supply. The Module supports discovery of Projects, but it does not explain Project creation, Project → Unit hierarchy, unit availability management, project price lists, or other developer-side Project operations.
Location Context Around a Property
A pin on a map does not always give enough context to understand the location around a property.
Where supported, MLS RealtyHub can supplement the property context with information about surrounding infrastructure within the relevant property and map experience.
This can help a professional review nearby points such as schools, shops, or other relevant infrastructure as part of understanding the property location. The capability provides supporting location context and should not be interpreted as exhaustive infrastructure coverage or a GIS analysis tool.
How Search, Maps & Discovery Works End to End
A typical workflow starts with a professional question and ends when the relevant part of inventory has been identified.
The user chooses the discovery interface that fits the task, narrows the available inventory, and continues refining until a relevant Listing or Project can be opened for the next professional step.
A broad-to-focused scenario can work like this:
- The professional opens the B2B Property Marketplace or another relevant discovery interface in MLS RealtyHub.
- The user defines a location, market segment, or other area of interest.
- Appropriate contextual filters are applied to narrow the available inventory.
- Where spatial context matters, the user can move to a map-based view and explore the visible geographic area.
- The result can be refined using criteria such as property type, deal type, price range, area range, user type, publication date, or last update date.
- The professional can move from broad market exploration toward a more specific client requirement using the same discovery environment.
- For individual property offers, the user works with Listing discovery interfaces; for new-development supply, the user can move into Project discovery.
- The workflow ends when one or more relevant Listings or Projects have been identified and opened for the next supported task.
The Module-level output is a professionally narrowed view of relevant current or historical inventory, with Listings or Projects identified for the user’s next workflow.
From Market Overview to a Specific Client Requirement
Broad market exploration and client-specific search are not two separate worlds. One can naturally become the other.
A professional may begin by understanding the available supply in an area and later need to answer a concrete buyer or tenant requirement using that same inventory.
For example, a general location review may later become a focused search based on:
- sale or rental requirement;
- property category;
- price range;
- required area;
- location;
- other supported criteria relevant to the selected entity.
MLS RealtyHub supports the narrowing process, but it does not claim to automatically determine the “best” property for the client or guarantee that the result is the optimal match.
Current and Archived Inventory
Current inventory answers one question: what is available now?
Archived inventory can help answer another: what had been offered before?
That historical context can be useful when a professional wants to understand previously available inventory or when an offer stopped being active.
Archived Listings must not be treated as evidence of completed transactions. Archived does not mean Sold or Rented, and historical offer context is different from transaction data, comparable analysis, or market-intelligence research.
Primary, Resale, and Rental Discovery
The Module can support discovery across several professional supply contexts without pretending that they are all the same type of inventory or workflow.
These can include:
- primary-market/new-development supply through Project discovery;
- secondary-market/resale supply through property Listings;
- rental offers through relevant Listings;
- broad market-overview tasks where the goal is to understand available supply;
- specific client-request searches where the goal is to narrow inventory against defined criteria.
Projects remain Projects, while individual property offers remain Listings. The Module connects their discovery experience without removing that distinction.
Capabilities Working Together Across the Discovery Layer
Several current MLS RealtyHub capabilities support different parts of the same discovery process. Their value comes from how they work together around one professional job rather than how many separate Tools exist.
These capabilities include:
- B2B Property Marketplace — the closed professional workspace for browsing property inventory;
- Global Platform Search — the broader search layer across the MLS RealtyHub environment;
- Contextual Filters — entity- and screen-sensitive narrowing according to the task;
- Property Map Search — spatial discovery of individual Listings;
- Project Map Search — spatial discovery of Projects;
- Infrastructure Around a Property — supporting location context around a selected property where applicable.
Together, they support a coherent discovery flow: browse available inventory, narrow according to the professional objective, use spatial context where relevant, identify the appropriate Listing or Project, and continue into the next supported workflow.
What the User Controls
The professional sets the question.
The system does not independently decide what the user should buy, sell, recommend, or investigate. The discovery process remains driven by the user’s objective and judgement.
The user primarily:
- chooses the discovery interface appropriate to the task;
- selects a location, segment, or visible map area;
- sets and changes supported filters;
- reviews the narrowed results;
- opens the relevant Listing or Project.
This keeps the search objective and professional judgement under user control.
What MLS RealtyHub Handles
Once the professional defines the search context, MLS RealtyHub supports the process of narrowing the inventory available to that authorised user.
MLS RealtyHub can:
- return available inventory within the user’s authorised professional context;
- apply supported filters and contextual narrowing;
- update visible results according to supported map and search interactions;
- present property and Project discovery through the appropriate interfaces;
- provide supported infrastructure context around a property where applicable.
These functions should not be interpreted as AI-powered matching, predictive recommendation, web-wide search, or guaranteed best-match selection unless a separate confirmed capability explicitly supports such behaviour.
What Happens After Discovery
Discovery has a clear endpoint.
Search, Maps & Discovery ends when the professional has narrowed the available inventory and identified the Listing or Project relevant to the next task.
Depending on the workflow, discovery may later lead into professional cooperation, client selection, project work, catalogues, presentations, CRM processes, or other supported MLS RealtyHub workflows. Those downstream mechanics belong to their respective Modules and Tools and are not duplicated here.
What the Module Helps Professionals Do
The business value does not come from one search box or one map. It comes from giving professionals several ways to solve the same underlying problem: reach the relevant part of a large and changing body of inventory.
The Module can help professionals:
- explore available professional inventory within one B2B environment;
- narrow results according to the current professional task;
- move between broad market exploration and specific client-request searches;
- use list/grid, search, and map-based discovery approaches;
- explore individual property Listings and Projects through appropriate interfaces;
- use archived inventory for historical offer context;
- review supported location and infrastructure context where relevant.
The value comes from these confirmed discovery interfaces and narrowing capabilities, not from guaranteed matching accuracy, conversion improvements, or transaction outcomes.
What the Module Does Not Do
Search, Maps & Discovery has one clear role: help professionals find and narrow existing inventory.
It should not be presented as a universal property-search engine, automated recommendation system, or market-intelligence platform.
The Module:
- does not search the entire public internet or every external property portal;
- does not guarantee the best possible match;
- does not claim AI-powered matching unless separately confirmed;
- does not guarantee complete market coverage;
- does not create or maintain Listings;
- does not create or manage Projects or Project → Unit structures;
- does not perform GIS, zoning, valuation, comparable, or transaction-data analysis on this Module page;
- does not treat archived Listings as completed sales or rentals;
- does not build catalogues or client presentations;
- does not guarantee faster deals, higher conversion, or revenue;
- does not guarantee exhaustive infrastructure coverage.
MLS RealtyHub is a professional B2B operating environment. Its discovery tools should not be confused with the separate public B2C marketplaces RealtyHub.cy or Realty.com.cy.
